Late Period. 26th-30th Dynnasty. 664-332 BC. Green glazed faience amulet of a stairway (21mm). The stairway amulet references the ascent to the sky. Chapter xxii of the Book of the Dead reads "I am Osiris the lord Restau, the same who is at the head of the staircase." A rare and well-preserved amulet. Pierced for suspension. Petrie 46.
