Hematite cylinder seal. Cappadocian Provincial, contemporary with the Old Babylonian Period, circa 1925-1750 BC. Fragmentary seal with two supplicants facing left before an altar and a priest facing right, hands raised in supplication. Behind, a column of devices, each separated by a single line: below, a rabbit; mid-height, a knot; and above, a recumbent lion to right. Height: 16mm. A fractional piece with much of the top portion missing.
