An important work that examines the production, circulation and significance of coinage in Northern Syria. Also a catalogue of the bronze coinages of Antioch, Seleucia Pieria, Rhosus, Nicopolis Seleucidis, Chalcis, Beroea, Cyrrhus, Hierapolis, Zeugma, Antiochia ad Euphratem, Samosata, Doliche, Germanicia and Antiochia ad Taurum. . Small tear on the spine of the dust cover where a label was removed and some scuffs on the back of the jacket, otherwise a very fine copy.
