CHINA. Dollar, Year 3 (1911). PCGS MS-65 Secure Holder.
L&M-37; K-227; Y-31; WS-0046b. No dot after "DOLLAR". Krause 2016 catalog has an (MS-60) valuation of $12,500 with no higher grade listed. While the Empire may have been coming to a close by 1911, it had little effect on the beauty of the coinage issued at the time, with the dragon design on this type in particular being one of the most artistically gratifying of any dragon to ever grace Chinese coinage. Faintly toned with abundant underlying luster and plenty of flash, the coin exhibits fantastic technical attributes in addition to its highly pleasant overall look. A coin which is always in high demand and is sure to see spirited bidding. PCGS MS-65 Secure Holder.
