CHINA. Anhwei. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), Year 24 (1898). NGC AU Details--Mount Removed.
L&M-203; K-53; Y-45.5; Sun-I-5-06; WS-1080. Large rosettes. VERY SCARCE type. Evidence of mount removal confined primarily to the edge of the coin, with a small scratch at three o'clock obverse which was likely left while removing the mount. Considerable remaining detail, with nearly all of the dragon scales intact and attractive overall color. The rims appear to be nearly original, without any trace of the piece having been dropped. NGC AU Details--Mount Removed.
