L&M-461; K-204; Y-69; WS-0631. RARE. The Pei Yang Arsenal Mint was destroyed in 1900 during the Boxer Rebellion, leaving very few surviving examples of this issue. PCGS has never seen an example above EXTREMELY FINE, with the piece being offered having a population of three with a single piece finer (EF-45). Conservatively graded, the dragon scales are full, the characters crisp, and the rims razor sharp. A coin missing from nearly all collections, and which will raise the level of sophistication of any cabinet it joins. PCGS EF-40 Secure Holder.
