CHINA. Hupeh. 3.6 Candareens (5 Cents), ND (1895-1905). PCGS MS-65 Secure Holder.
L&M-186; K-44; Y-123; WS-0877. RARE, especially at this grade level. PCGS records just six pieces with none finer in MS-65, with a single example also having a plus designation. The strike is simply amazing, with the facial features on the dragon displaying rigid sharp detail. The nostrils in the nose are fully formed and the eyes have sharp distinctive edges. Dragon scales, feet and obverse clouds exhibit similar qualities, while the reverse Manchu characters are outstandingly clear, with no weakness to the denticles on either side. Light clear tone which does not inhibit the luminous characteristics of the piece. A coin that is certain to bring immense pride of ownership to the winning bidder, the only requirement being the perseverance to prevail at the close of bidding. PCGS MS-65 Secure Holder.
Estimate: $4000.00- $6000.00
