CHINA. Kwangtung. 3 Mace 6 1/2 Candareens (50 Cents), ND (1889). PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder.
L&M-124; K-17; Y-197; WS-0932; Wenchao-553 (rarity three stars). VERY RARE pattern type with English legends on the reverse instead of surrounding the dragon as usually seen. Population of two, with two finer at PCGS. Light clear almond color tone propelled by generous amounts of underlying luster. Upon close inspection the tone can be seen to be an amalgam of other intermixed colors. Well struck, with the reverse center Manchu characters all crisp and clear, plus full scales the entire length of the dragon. A very seldom offered coin that will likely require serious pursuit to successfully acquire. PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder.

Estimate: $25000.00- $35000.00
