CHINA. Sinkiang. Fantasy Tael, ND (1908-11). PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder.
K-B83; Bruce-330; WS-1349-37. Finest graded by a four point margin at PCGS. Medium slate gray toning. A well fabricated piece that is vastly superior to most of the contemporary circulation struck Sinkiang coinage from the era. The design is sensational with the dragon in particular, being one of the more formidable seen on Chinese coinage from the period. Fiercely portrayed, the image is so bold and aggressive it could give a small child nightmares. When combined with the incredible state of preservation seen here, the coin becomes one which will no doubt attract significant interest as it crosses the auction block. PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder.
