40 mm. L&M-935; Wurzbach-5175. RARE. Struck to commemorate the state visit of Li Huang Chang (Li Hongzhang) to Hamburg. Struck in Germany, the medal features a well executed facing portrait, with the Hamburg coat of arms on the reverse. Just enough cabinet friction to reveal the underlying bronze on the very highest points of the medal. Lustrous, and retaining nearly all of its original as struck attributes. NGC AU-58.
