HONG KONG. 20 Cents, 1880-H. NGC MS-65.
KM-7; Mars-C28; Prid-28. KEY DATE. Only 25,000 struck making it the second lowest mintage of the entire 28 year series. From the Royal mint and struck with dies prepared at Heaton. Tied with one other piece for finest graded at NGC. Light clear tan and overcast tone with booming luster peering up through the color. Super strike with every last pearl fully defined in the tiara and exhibiting an exceptionally clean cheek and neck on Victoria. The reverse is equally impressive with immaculate surfaces free of marks or abrasions. A piece serious collectors of Hong Kong coinage are sure to notice, and with a highly venerable pedigree adding to its desirability. NGC MS-65.
