MEXICO. Mexico City. 8 Reales, 1889-MoMH. PCGS MS-65.
KM-377.10; DP-Mo74. Stands alone as the finest graded at PCGS, with two other examples at NGC in the same grade and none higher. Collectors generally think of Mexico City as being one of the more available mints regardless of grade. Not so here, the coin offered is inferior to none, with ebullient aquamarine tone along the edges and medium gray toning elsewhere. Well struck, flawless rims, an all around super example of the issue that demands much respect and admiration. PCGS MS-65.
