Saigon. 19th century notes of this Duval type are exceedingly scarce regardless of branch and this Saigon note shows as nicely as we have seen. The note is free from any netting defects and shows still original paper when carefully examined through the encapsulation surface. Bold blue color and a piece that will be difficult to best. Last sold as part of the Ruth W. Hill collection for $2,702 in a 2014 public auction. PCGS Very Fine 25.
