ΗΕΡΑΚΛΗΙΩΝ, head of Athena right wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Scylla hurling stone; K behind neck guard / ΗΕΡΑΚΛΗΙΩΝ Heracles standing facing, holding grounded club with right hand, bow and arrows gripped in left, lion skin draped over left arm; large askos (jug) in left field over ΑΘΑ. HN Italy 1384. SNG ANS 74. McClean 852 and pl. XXIX, 15. Van Keuren 85. Reverse a tad off-center, a few surface marks, otherwise nicely toned and attractive. NGC AU 4/5 - 3/5, Fine Style.
