THRACIAN KINGDOM. Lysimachus (305-281 BC). AR tetradrachm (30mm, 17.07 gm, 8h). Amphipolis or Magnesia, ca. 288-281 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, Athena seated left, holding Nike and resting arm on shield set beside her, spear resting against her side, torch in inner left field, monogram in outer right. Cf. Thompson 187 (Amphipolis, bee in outer right field). Boldly struck on an exceptionally broad flan. NGC Choice AU 5/5 - 4/5, Fine Style.
