Veiled head of Antony right, with mourning beard; capis behind, lituus below chin / P· SEPVLLIVS above, desultor (horseman) on horseback galloping right, wearing conical cap and holding whip and reins, a second horse by his side in background, wreath behind. Crawford 480/22. CRI 142. Sydenham 1077. RSC 74. Very rare -- the first portrait issue of Marc Antony! Exceptionally detailed strike, displaying the soon-to-be Triumvir in heavy mourning for Caesar.
