SER · GALBA · IMP CAES · AVG, laureate, draped bust of Galba right / S - C, Roma seated left on cuirass, shiled at side, holding vertical scepter, ROMA in exergue. BN 115. RIC --, cf. 247 (legend ends TR P); Cohen --. Very rare! Struck on a broad, medallic flan, with an outstanding portrait of a wizened Galba. Brown-tan patina, areas of light smoothing on reverse. NGC Choice VF 5/5 - 3/5, Fine Style smoothing.
