DN THEODO-SIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder in right hand and shield decorated with motif of horseman spearing fallen soldier on left arm / SALVS REI-PVBLICAE, Theodosius II and Valentinian III seated facing on double throne, each nimbate and wearing consular robes, holding mappa in right hand, cruciform scepter in left; star above; E//CONOB. RIC 237. Depeyrot 79/1. A beautifully struck specimen, with sharp divices and lustrous fields. NGC Choice AU 5/5 - 5/5.
