D N ANASTA-SIVS PP AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Anastasius facing, head slightly right, holding spear over right shoulder and, on left arm, shield decorated with motif of horseman spearing soldier / VICTORI-A AVGGG, Victory standing left, holding long staff topped by Christogram; star to left; I//CONOB. Sear 4. DOC 6 (officina unrecorded). Detailed strike on a very broad flan and lustrous surfaces. Highest NGC designation for ancients! NGC Gem MS 5/5 - 5/5.
