Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Friedrich Franz III gold Proof 10 Mark 1890-A PR62 NGC, Berlin mint, KM325. A scarce one-year type featuring the stately portrait of Friedrich Franz III sitting atop fields that, while slightly hazy, contain an incredible amount of underlying flash. While a scattering of handling marks are noted within the fields, no individual mark is of significance to the piece as a whole. Presently, there is only one other example certified finer by NGC, and as such, this Proof offering is sure to elicit much attention.
