French India. Colonial white metal Uniface Pattern 20 Sols 1785 MS63 NGC, Unlisted in KM, but listed on page 354 of the 2007 edition of Lecompte (this coin is the Lecompte plate piece). Considered entirely unique, this pattern 20 Sols design, only completed on one side and struck in plaque form, is unknown in any other format of coinage, making it of great importance for the collector of colonial India. Lustrous and well struck with an NGC photo certificate.
