Charles IV gold 8 Escudos 1807 Mo-TH AU53 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM159, Onza-1045. Known as the scarcer variety for the date, this selection features the "Mo/Inverted Mo" mintmark. Other than light circulation wear and faint handling abrasions, this large gold offering pleases the eye with antiqued patina and a nicely-struck portrait of the King. Typically unseen in higher grades, and as such, a model representative of the type.
