Republic 8 Reales 1859 Oa-AE AU53 NGC, Oaxaca mint, KM377.11, DP-Oa03 ("Excessively Rare"). The variety with the cruder and larger eagle of 1858-1859. Rather handsome for the assigned grade for this issue, with only slight actual high-point wear and strong underlying luster and the planchet crudeness usually encountered for the date.
