Republic 8 Reales 1849 Pi-AM XF45 NGC, San Luis Potosi mint, KM377.12, DP-Pi26 ("Extremely rare"). Medal alignment. Wholesome and attractive for the designation with contained high-point wear defining the grade and delicate golden toning on surfaces showing only moderate handling evidence. Strike in a tad weak in the centers, as usual. A very rare date, most desirable in this pleasant, unflawed condition, this being currently the second finest of only three certified examples by NGC (and none at PCGS) after an AU50 coin.From the FoxLair Collection
