Republic 8 Reales 1867 Zs-JS VF Details (Chopmarked) NGC, Zacatecas mint, KM377.13 ("Rare"), DP-Za51 ("Extremely rare"). Evenly circulated with a few essentially unobtrusive small chopmarks and the often seen handling marks at this level. The second rarest date of this mint after the uncollectible 1870 Zs-JS (1 or 2 extant) in typical - per DP, the norm is "about Very Fine with a small number of tiny chopmarks... (with) only one nice example ... known"- yet not unattractive preservation. Very collectible as such since reasonably detailed and one coin that would be most difficult to significantly upgrade, as noted previously and evidenced by its current absence from the NGC-PCGS combined census. From the FoxLair Collection
