King in ship facing, holding sword and shield with coat-of-arms; on stern, banner with lion rampant left; large rose on ship's hull / Cross fleurée with six-rayed central star, in each quarter, crown above lion passant left; all within tressure of arches; trefoils in spandrels. An attractive and highly lustrous specimen, well-struck for these imitative issues and quite scarce thus.
