Alexander I of Russia gold 25 Zlotych 1818-IB AU Details (Obverse Scratched) NGC, KM-C102A. Struck with collar type. A notably scarce type from a short-lived series featuring the portrait of Alexander I of Russia and crowned double-eagle motif. The surfaces are most pleasing, with moments of amber color accenting the lightly-patinated surfaces and the design motifs present limited wear across the features. Residual luster still remains, and other than a small obverse scratch, handling marks are fairly mild in the open fields. Highly-collectible at all levels, and as such, this piece should not be overlooked.
