Abd al-Aziz bin Sa'ud gold 4 Pounds ND (1945-46) AU58 NGC, Philadelphia mint, KM34. A broad issue with very limited wear, produced at the Philadelphia mint and used as payment to the Saudi government for oil, with classic honeyed color and pleasing motifs. Besides a number of mostly insignificant wisps, the obverse contains one heavier-handed mark beneath the central design. Collectible at all levels, and pleasing thus.
