Cape of Good Hope. British Colony - Victoria bronze Proof Penny 1889 PR63 Brown NGC, Brussels mint, KM-X1, Hern-C9. Short horn variety. A sparkling example, more red than brown, with coppery iridescent luster that drenches the surfaces in fiery color and surrounds the portrait of the Queen in a halo of light. A bit of softness is noted in the legends, however the overall allure of this selection remains extremely strong.
