Griquatown. British Colony copper 1/2 Penny Token ND (1815-16) XF45 Brown NGC, Uncertain mint in England, KM-XTn2, Hern-GT3, reeded edge. The piece comes first series of coinage which was minted for and circulated in South Africa. Although the mintage figures are unknown, the issue circulated for just a few years before it was largely melted down, making surviving examples very rare. A very pleasing circulated example.
