Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1820 M-GJ AU55 NGC, Madrid mint, KM485. Notable as the final year from the series, this broad gold specimen presents the laureate head of Ferdinand VII surrounding by warm, amber-tinged surfaces. And, while mild wear is noticeable atop the King's features, the reverse appears to be virtually Mint State, with an abundance of luster whirling around the raised elements. Decidedly choice for the grade, and most pleasing in all regards.
