Republic copper Proof Essai Centavo 1863-E PR64 Red and Brown Cameo NGC, Paris mint, KME1. Original with surfaces that approach the full Red level, a touch of speckled color on the obverse and light reverse edge tone being the only prohibiting factors. Still, the surfaces are far nicer than most we have observed, with an obvious cameo appearance created by delicate highpoint frost and deep, unimpeded reflectivity in the fields.
