DANUBE REGION. Imitating Thasos. Ca. 2nd-1st centuries BC. AR tetradrachm (16.80). Head of young Dionysus right, wreathed in ivy / Heracles standing left, right hand on grounded club, lion skin draped over left arm. Cf. SNG Copenhagen 1048 (Thasos). Obverse struck from degraded die, but clean reverse. NGC MS 4/5 - 4/5, scuff.
