Constantius I. As Caesar, AD 293-305. Æ Follis (28mm, 8.31 g, 12h). Treveri (Trier) mint, 2nd officina. Struck circa AD 298-299. Laureate and cuirassed bust left, holding spear over shoulder and shield / Genius standing facing, head left, holding patera and cornucopia; B-*//TR. RIC VI 340 var. (spear not over shoulder). VF, dark brown patina with traces of green, flatly struck in areas. Possible unpublished variety with Constantius holding the spear over his shoulder (RIC obverse S).
