THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 450/40-420 BC. AR Drachm (20mm, 5.98 g, 10h). The hero Thessalos, with petasos and chlamys hanging around neck, restraining bull left by band held around its head / ΛΑPI / ΣΑΙΑ, bridled horse rearing right within incuse square. Lorber, Thessalian 50; BCD Thessaly I 1128; BCD Thessaly II 174 (same dies); HGC 4, 420. Good VF, toned, minor porosity.
