Constantine I (307-337). AE Follis. A barbaric imitation, uncertain mint. Obv. CONSTANTINVS AVG. Helmeted and cuirassed bust left, holding spear and shield. Rev. Blundered legends. Two Victories standing facing one another, together holding shield inscribed [?] on altar. Cf. RIC VII, Siscia, 61. AE. g. 2.81 mm. 17.00 RR. Some minor encrustations on obverse, otherwise about EF. A rare and very interesting example. Earthy green-brown patina.Provenance:
