Valens, 364-378. Miliarense (Silver, 21mm, 4.32 g 12), Antioch, 364-367. D N VALENS - PER F AVG Draped and cuirassed bust of Valens to right, wearing diadem of pearls and rosettes. Rev. GLORIA ROMANORVM / ANTS Valens, in military dress, standing facing, but turned slightly to the right, holding a spear in his right hand and a globus in his left. RIC 4b (this officina unnoted). Very rare. Attractive and clear. A few minor marks, otherwise, about extremely fine.
