BRITISH COINS, Commonwealth, Silver Halfcrown, 1660, English shield within laurel and palm branches, initial mark anchor, legends in English surrounding, outer beaded circle both sides, rev shields of England and Ireland, with value above, all within beaded circle, date and legend surrounding, 14.69g (ESC 442 R4; Bull 61; N 2723; S 3216). Toned with a patina from the River Thames mud, slightly double struck with crease, about extremely fine and extremely rare.
