BRITISH COINS, Charles II (1660-1685), Silver Crown, 1662, first laureate and draped bust right, rose below bust, rev crowned cruciform emblematic shields, interlinked C's in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of crown over top English shield, edge inscribed in closely spaced raised letters (ESC.15A; Bull 340; S 3350). "X" scratched in field behind head, another "X" on reverse, otherwise good fine, toned.
