HIB REX., edge inscribed in raised letters of upright orientation, +.DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. TERTIO.+ (MCE 117; Schneider -; King -; S 3397). With light surface marks and nicks both sides, though attractively toned, bold very fine and very rare as a first bust issue, no example of this date in the Schneider or King collections.
