THE ALFRED FRANKLIN COLLECTION OF ANCIENT COINS, GREEK SILVER COINS, Attica, Athens (late 5th to early 4th Century BC), Silver Tetradrachm, Eastern imitation(?), head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive-leaves and a palmette, rev AΘE, owl standing right, its head facing, an olive-sprig and a crescent behind, all within an incuse square, 17.19g, 9h (Kroll 8; SNG Copenhagen 31). Good very fine.
