Licinius Nerva (113/112 BC), Silver Denarius, ROMA, helmeted bust of Roma facing left, holding a shield and with a spear over shoulder, a crescent above, mark of value (XVI monogram) on left, rev P NERVA (NE in monogram), voting scene: a voter receives a ballot from an attendant whilst another voter on right places ballot into cista, a bar above on which stands a tablet bearing the letter P, 3.92g, 1h (Cr 292/1; Syd 548; RBW 1125). Iridescent cabinet tone, very fine and a popular type.
