Mucius Scaevola (Cordus) (70 BC), Silver Denarius Serratus, HO-V[IR / KALENI], jugate heads of Honos and Virtus facing right, rev ITAL (TAL in monogram) – RO, Italia and Roma clasping hands, a cornucopiae between them, a caduceus on left, Roma, diademed and with right foot on globe, holds fasces, CORDI in exergue, 3.57g, 6h (Cr 403/1; Syd 797; RBW 1445). Attractive cabinet tone, nearly extremely fine.
