Sergius Silus, Silver Denarius (116/115 BC) (Cr 286/1). Very fine and good fine, both toned. (2)
both purchased from A H Baldwin & Sons Ltd, 25 April 1955, reportedly from an old Populonian copper mine and sold to Baldwin's by W Everett together with lot 537.
