A COLLECTION OF ROMAN IMPERATORIAL COINS, PROPERTY OF A GENTLEMAN, Kingdom of Egypt, Cleopatra VII (51-30 BC), Æ 80-Drachmai, minted at Alexandria, diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra facing right, rev ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΗΣ ΚΛΕΟΠΑΤΡΑΣ (only partially visible), eagle, with closed wings, standing left on a thunderbolt, a cornucopiae on left, Π on right, 17.30g, 12h (Svoronos 1871; SNG Copenhagen 419-21). Dark green patina, good fine, with a clear portrait.
