THE COLLECTION OF A CLASSICIST, BRITISH COINS, George II, Copper Farthing, 1749, struck without retaining collar, older laureate and cuirassed bust left, rev Britannia seated on globe with spear, shield and spray of leaves, date in exergue (Peck 889; S 3722). On a broad flan, good extremely fine, toned with a little lustre, a desirable date.
