THE COLLECTION OF A CLASSICIST, BRITISH COINS, Victoria, Copper Halfpenny, 1851, young head left, date below, rev Britannia seated right, two incuse dots on lower part of shield, and Bronze Halfpenny, 1860, laureate "bun" type bust left, fifteen leaf wreath with four berries, rev Britannia seated right, spread date in exergue (Fr 267, dies 4+C; Peck 1535; S 3949, 3956). Both with lustre, first with a few tiny spots and rim nick, second with hairline die flaws evident, otherwise extremely fine, toned. (2)
