THE COLLECTION OF A CLASSICIST, BRITISH COINS, Victoria, Copper Proof Halfpenny, 1861, laureate "bun" type bust left, sixteen leaf wreath with four berries, toothed border both sides, rev Britannia seated right with trident and shield, spread date in exergue (Fr 281, dies 7+F; S 3956). Some speckles, otherwise practically as struck, toned with considerable underlying lustre.
