BRITISH COINS, William I (1066-1087), Silver Penny, Bonnet type (1068-1070?), London mint, moneyer Wulfwine, crowned and diademed facing bust to lower part of coin, two fillets each side, legend commences lower left, +PILLEMVS REX, outer beaded circle surrounding both sides, rev annulet at centre of short voided cross with crescent and pellet ends, over small quadrilateral with pellet topped apexes, beaded inner circle surrounding, +PULFPINE ON LIIN, 1.08g (BMC type II; N 842; S 1251). Flan a little undulating, about very fine, toned.
