BRITISH COINS, Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Silver Crown, seventh issue (1601-1602), crowned ornate bust of the Queen left with orb and sceptre, initial mark 1 (1601) both sides, rev quartered shield over long cross fourchée, 29.69g (Cooper dies B/2; N 2012; S 2582). Struck a little short of flan giving a straight rim in one part, otherwise bold very fine, toned.
